Introduction

Good Earth is an idea currently being explored.

It is based on a simple question:

Is it possible to create a small, practical model of living that is more independent, less dependent on external systems, and more connected to the land?

This is not a project in development.

No land has been secured, and no execution has begun.

At this stage, Good Earth exists as a concept, an attempt to think through a different way of living, and to understand whether others feel aligned with it.

The core idea behind Good Earth is:

Independent living within a naturally designed system

The intention is to explore a small-scale model where:

  • Individuals or households maintain their own space
  • Basic needs such as food, water, and energy are addressed locally
  • The land is designed using permaculture principles
  • Interaction between people is possible, but not required

It is not intended to be:

  • A community-driven model with shared obligations
  • A commercial development
  • A large-scale farming operation

Design Thinking (Conceptual)

If developed, the model would likely follow a permaculture-based land design, where:

  • Water systems (collection, storage, flow) are central
  • Food production is integrated into everyday living
  • Energy use is reduced and partially self-generated
  • Natural systems (soil, trees, biodiversity) are preserved and strengthened

A small land size (e.g. ~2–3 acres) could potentially support:

  • A limited number of independent plots
  • Shared ecological systems (water, landscape)
  • Minimal infrastructure

This is not a fixed plan, only a working direction.

The idea leans towards a low-dependency, independent lifestyle, where:

  • Each person is responsible for their own space
